Statement from State Auditor Shad White Regarding Arrest of Former Water Association President in Marion County

JACKSON, Miss. – Investigators from the State Auditor’s office provided assistance to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office which led to an arrest of a former water association president. Marcus P. Hull is accused of embezzling $106,599.63 from Mt. Gilead-Improve Water Association during a two-year period.

State Auditor Shad White issued the following quote:

“My office was happy to work with the sheriff’s office to provide help with their investigation. All local law enforcement should know we stand ready to assist with any financial crimes investigation.”
